In Year 2010, SNE added another feather to its cap by being selected as one of the Top 20 MLM Companies in Malaysia amongst 1300 Malaysian MLM companies registered with the Malaysia Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-Operatives and Consumerism (MDTCC).

The selection was based on the financial data provided by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM). It was assessed according to the Company Annual Sales Turnover and Average Monthly Sales, Profit After Tax, and Net Profit Margin.

Triumph with Creativity and Innovation

Once again, SNE Marketing Sdn. Bhd. has been awarded the largest and most prestigious annual business award in Malaysia – the Golden Bull Award 2010. SNE has been selected as one of the top 10 outstanding SMEs in Malaysia from 130 nominees! This award not only reaffirms the excellent operations of SNE, it is also a showcase of SNE’s continuous growth with brilliant achievements!

The 8th Golden Bull Award 2010 ceremony was held at Genting International Convention Centre on 12th November 2010 with a reservation of 153 tables. Second Finance Minister Dato’ Seri Ahmad Husni presented the Golden Bull Award to SNE Executive Director Dato’ Lawrence Low.

The Golden Bull Award has been acknowledged as the representative of the most prestigious annual business award. The theme for this year is “Triumph with Creativity and Innovation” which encourages SMEs to adopt the spirit of creativity and innovation to forge ahead and reap greater success.

It was a memorable and meaningful night for all award recipients, where a total of 100 SMEs, 20 Emerging SMEs and 10 Super Golden Bull enterprises were given due recognition.

 

A perfect system should be able to withstand the test of time and market tribulations to gain the recognition and affirmation of SNE-tizens. Finally, in 2009, SNE was awarded the Asian-Pacific Outstanding System Award in 2009 from the Asian-Pacific Direct Selling Forum (APDSF). This honour confirms the influence and expertise of the SNE 532 System.

Judging Criteria
  • Law-abiding, no previous criminal records
  • Possesses an ethical business enterprise concept and
    abides by the business enterprise code of conduct willingly.
    Possesses a perfect and logical market operation mechanism.
    Poses as an exemplary role model in the industry.
  • Nominees’ operational system should not be less than 3 years; individual income generated for leaders of the direct selling
    industry should exceed NT$3 million.
  • The nominated system should have succeeded in helping more than
    20 members achieve the outstanding direct selling award in 2009.

SNE’s active promotion of seabuckthorn as a health supplement in product development, technical cooperation, its effort in helping others achieve optimum health with an impressive result, and a good corporate image received affirmation from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science & Technology Department, China.

The Vice Governor of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Mr. Lian Ji made a special trip to Malaysia to present the "International Seabuckthorn Industry Prominent Contribution Award" to SNE President-cum-Managing Director, Dato' Seri Barry Low and International Trade Director, Professor Yu, in recognition of SNE’s contribution to the development of Inner Mongolia’s seabuckthorn industry. The Director-General of Science & Technology Department, Mr. Xu Feng Jun and YuHangRen President, Mr. Xing Guo Liang presented the “South East Asia Region Export Products – Technology Gold Medal” Award for the Shamone skin care product range to SNE Executive Director, Mr. Lawrence Low.

The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Government delegation which comprised of 6 officials, spearheaded by the Vice Governor, Mr. Lian Ji; together with YuHangRen President, Mr. Xing Guo Liang; Dr. Tian Jing Min and Senior Beautician, Ms. Li Yen graced the “Achieve Optimum Health with the Objective of Living to be a Centenarian” award-giving ceremony which was attended by more than 1,000 SNE-tizens and their family and friends. This prestigious event was held on 1st March, 2009 at Flamingo Hotel. The Director-General of Science & Technology Department, Mr. Xu Feng Jun personally presented the “Excellent Contribution to the International Seabuckthorn Industry” Awards to 15 SNE outstanding leaders, in appreciation of their effort in promoting seabuckthorn in the health care and skin care industry.

Year 2008 – SNE’s relentless quest for continual excellence resulted in another corporate milestone when we were awarded with Malaysia’s highest honour for SMEs, the 6th Golden Bull Award. This award, spearheaded by Nanyang Siang Pau is aimed to spur and recognize outstanding enterprises in our country.

It was SNE’s inaugural participation in this prestigious event with the participation of over 100 Malaysian SMEs and served as a symbol towards SNE’s excellent management which reflects a new breakthrough for all MLM companies.

It was a grand affair at the Genting International Convention Centre on 31st October 2008. Deputy Prime Minister-cum-Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak officiated the Golden Bull Award Ceremony. SNE President-cum-Managing Director, Dato' Seri Barry Low received the Golden Bull Award from Datuk Seri Najib.

The evaluation standard of Golden Bull Award was conducted by world renowned public accountant and auditor, Ernst & Young. Audited criteria are based on: corporate’s uniqueness and philosophy, vision and mission statement, sales turnover, turnover growth over last three years, management outlook, etc. Upholding the spirit of the Golden Bull Award, SNE will definitely be the cream of the crop with its outstanding business operation, paving its way to another pinnacle of success.

December 2007 – In its continual pursuit of total excellence, SNE bagged another feather in its cap after being named as the “2007 Top 10 Brands of Direct Selling in the Asia Pacific Region” by the Asian-Pacific Direct Selling Forum and World Chinese Direct Selling Congress; beating nominations from Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Myanmar, New Zealand, the Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The award was presented at the Leaders’ Summit of Direct Selling at the Asian-Pacific Direct Selling Forum and the fourth Direct Selling Conference for Global Chinese in Macau.

This award is bestowed to enterprises with an annual growth rate exceeding 50 per cent, annual tax pay volume exceeding US$500 thousand (RM1.64 million), including a total local investment and annual advertising cost of not less than US$20 million (RM65.6 million) respectively. Enterprises such as SNE serves as a model in this arena, providing global business opportunities for all, which will subsequently enhance our competitiveness edge in becoming a leader in the global direct selling industry.
